Renovating your bathroom with Patton Pending should be an honest, straightforward experience built on trust and reliability. I treat your home with genuine care, executing meticulous tile work and communicating transparently from day one. Browse my common questions below, and when you are ready, please contact me to discuss your custom bathroom remodel.
A small guest bathroom typically takes two to three weeks, while primary bathroom suites require three to five weeks. I focus on exceptional quality over rushing. Taking the time to do things right ensures precise tile alignment, proper plumbing installation, and dependable craftsmanship throughout your home.
Not always. Cosmetic updates like swapping vanities, replacing backsplashes, or updating plumbing fixtures typically do not require permits. However, if your bathroom renovation involves moving drain lines, altering electrical circuits, or moving structural walls, municipal permits are required. I handle all necessary permit applications and city inspections directly.
Total costs depend on your bathroom's square footage, structural adjustments, and fixture selections. You receive detailed project estimates with clear labor rates and material breakdowns. These comprehensive proposals ensure you understand every dollar invested, receiving superior tile craftsmanship and long-term value without surprise expenses.
Proper shower waterproofing requires patience, precision, and diligence. I install high-grade moisture barriers, continuous uncoupling membranes, and custom-sloped shower pans to prevent water intrusion. By following strict manufacturer specifications and local building codes, I ensure your shower enclosure remains fully watertight and durable for years to come.
Yes, I am happy to share practical layout recommendations, walk-in shower ideas, and suitable tile pairings based on my trade experience. However, every final decision is completely up to you. My goal is simply to guide you with sound technical advice so you can confidently choose the aesthetic that best fits your home.
